AXIAL ROTOR SCANNER

The Magcam Axial Rotor Scanner is a 3-axis motorized scan stage measuring the axial magnetic field distribution of Permanent Magnet Axial Flux Rotors, Multipole Ring Magnets, and MagSafe Chargers.

The scanner can easily measure and analyze your magnets from 0-500 mm diameter. We use PLC-controlled axes to measure any flat round magnet that needs to be scanned horizontally.
With our visual aids and real-time solution, you will be able to optimize your magnets and rotors in no time.

Magcam's Axial Rotor Scanner is integrated with 3D magnetic field camera, this is called our MiniCube 3D.
The MiniCube is the heart of the Axial Scanner. Here you will find the chip that actually provides quantitative 3D (Br, Bt, Ba) measurements of your magnet.
The Magnetic Field Camera allows the scanner to measure the magnetic field distribution on the full rotor surface in a few seconds with high resolution. With the MiniCube the scanner can collect extensive magnet data in one single measurement.

Once the magnetic field is measured on your magnet, the data is collected and analyzed by our data analysis software, MagScope. The software provides powerful analysis capabilities for complete quality control and characterization of axial flux PM rotors, magnetic ring assemblies, and flat Smartphone charges. MagScope is designed to extract as much information as possible from the measurement data.
The software stitches all measured images together to visualize the magnetic field distribution of your magnet in real-time. This can be done in two or three dimensions.

With these advanced features and safety options, you will have a more productive and efficient measurement.

Safety Housing

We offer fully integrated safety housing for all Magcam's magnetic field scanners. The safety housing provides safety for you while the scanner is in use. Moreover, the scanner is easily portable with the safety housing and can be moved to wherever it needs to go. Safety housing for the cleanroom is also available.

Laser Distance Sensor

Magcam's high-accuracy laser sensor performs combined magnetic and topographic measurements and automated runout measurements and compensation, enabling to measure the magnets and magnet sample size more accurately.

Combi Scanner

Combi Scanner, a 4-axis motorized scan stage, is a complete solution for measuring magnetic field distributions of a variety of permanent magnets, such as flat magnets, magnetic assemblies, permanent magnet rotors, and curved magnet segments.
